Smartphones are increasingly becoming a major player in the way people access the internet. Part of the reason is the immediacy of it, sometimes laptops are not available and sometimes it’s easier to use the mobile access rather than boot up the computer (although the latest laptops provide an instant web launch). We envisage smartphones becoming in many cases the main gateway for web access. Increasingly our analytics are detecting a definite trend towards mobile phone web access.

We provide effective communication across both platforms and believe the smartphone interface will become the dominant player, keyboard based phones (such as Blackberry) leading the group. At present we cannot understand Apple not to allow flash development for iphone and ipad products. We believe this to be a strategic error as this will leave the field open for Android / open source development.
